The frame combines an aluminum exterior cladding and a timber interior, so the room side shows natural wood while the weather side stays low-maintenance. The glass package is double-glazed tempered insulating glass (5mm + 12mm argon + 5mm) with a Low-E coating; triple glazing is available. Shaped timber frames are built to the elevation, so arches and circles can be glazed to suit the design.
German-origin hardware handles daily operation, while an interior and exterior double sealing system and EPDM glazing gaskets keep drafts and water out. It can be supplied in custom colors. It includes a magnetic insect screen. It is listed as Energy Star qualified. Each order is built to the project, with sizes, colors, glass specification, and hardware finish specified per opening. Units ship in non-fumigation plywood crates to protect frames and glass in transit, and the product carries a warranty of more than five years.
