Smart and Motorized Windows and Doors — product list

Options include motorized windows with remote-controlled opening, switchable smart glass that changes from clear to private, tilt & turn and casement windows with smart glass, and entry doors in thermal break aluminum or solid wood with anti-theft smart locks. Selected motorized sliding doors in the Slim-Frame Series offer smart home integration. Systems are built on the same thermal break aluminum and timber platforms as our standard products, with Low-E insulating glass and multi-point locking, and selected smart glass windows carry NFRC documentation. Because automation involves power, controls and compatibility with building systems, we work with your electrical and integration teams early to define voltages, control protocols, wiring routes and safety features for each opening.

Smart & Motorized: frequently asked questions

What smart features are available?

Options include motorized window opening with remote control, switchable privacy glass, and smart locks on entry doors with keypad, app or biometric access depending on the model. Selected slim sliding doors offer motorized operation with smart home integration.

Can smart windows integrate with home automation systems?

Integration depends on the motor, controller and protocol used. Tell us which home automation or building management system you use, and we will confirm compatibility, control options and wiring requirements before production, so devices work with your system.

What happens to motorized windows during a power outage?

Behavior depends on the drive system. Many motorized systems hold their position when power is lost, and some offer manual override or battery backup. We confirm the failure mode and override options for each product, which is important for egress and ventilation planning.

Is switchable smart glass energy efficient?

Switchable glass is incorporated into insulating glass units with Low-E coatings, so thermal performance comes mainly from the insulating unit. The switchable layer primarily controls privacy and glare. We confirm whole-unit performance for your configuration and climate.
