Product description
Designed for villas and apartments, the 163S inward opening clad wood window for cold climates is built to order in our factory. The frame combines an aluminum exterior cladding and a timber interior, so the room side shows natural wood while the weather side stays low-maintenance. Glazing is double-glazed tempered IGCC/SGCC certified insulating glass. The casement sash seals on closing, while the wood interior gives a natural finish.
Invisible hinges with hand-crank hardware in black, bronze or white handles daily operation, while EPDM glazing gaskets keep drafts and water out. Surfaces receive a powder-coated finish and water-based paint or stain on the timber. It includes a magnetic insect screen. This model is NFRC certified. It is also listed as Energy Star qualified. Glass specification and hardware finish are made to order, so units can be matched to project drawings or replacement openings. The product carries a warranty of more than five years.
